soft onto dust

to those who did, your
mates in the same company
your brothers, sister

hair?
but i

the spray
of the night
surf foaming
up the sand
landed on
your face
and my arms
held yours out
to face it
our night
our surf
pounding
us to
drunken
bits
of
driftwood
