star and moon
march 2016

star and moon
in a drifted space
the evening cloud
wove round them
star that stood the
full lunar flare
yoked together
bright and brighter
the sea blathered
in on waves
heavy engraved
with silver
the black lithe
between to bash
dulled into sand
lunar flare now
through a prairie
of sky unhindered
that star
still
stood
its
ground
