my knee
you saw
from the
balcony
the tui
in the
top
branches
against cloud
bobbing his
frill at the
throat with
beat of
note,
a tumble
up and
down the
stairs of
song,
the man
in oilskins
crossing the
wet road
the spider
web drift of
rains along
the estuary,
a car tire
loud taking
the sharp
corner
and you
purred
through
it
all
for Big Cat AKA Wandui
