peach tree-3
‘Peach Tree in Bloom’, 1888, Vincent Van Gogh, image sourced from the art site en.opisanie-kartin.com

the peach tree
of this morning
all its branches
the luminous
strength of a
clean soul
lifting
bud packed
along all its
twig some
in sun some
in shade
lifting
in the
storm-washed
air jewelled
fingers touching
on the wise
poverty
of sky.
