dawn, a fine rain

dawn, a fine rain
                1 october 2012

fixed as if on a seam of coal…a Weathercat late night stroll and shoot.

dawn a fine
rain across
the valley
in streetlights
fixed as if
on seams of
coal in a
miner’s dream
to the surface
in rain
the valley
crackling with
jasmine flowers
shining in the
ample wet
on scoria.

The music is from the second (Allegretto in A major) of Scriabin’s 2 nocturnes (Opus 5), and interpreted here by pianist Gordon Fergus-Thompson.
